"Our first 6 months together focused on both of us learning all about groundwork with a trainer and me taking riding lessons on trained school horses. Then Bril started his riding training and soon I was able to ride him in a controlled environment with a trainer. We graduated to trail rides with his trainer, and recently moved on to trail rides with other horses and riders. We have both learned so much and it is an incredible journey that just keeps getting better!"

Jack Sparrow
"I adopted Jack Sparrow after volunteering at Equus Rescue and falling in love with him. He was a shy, quiet horse and I’m a shy, quiet person so it was the perfect match! We enjoy doing liberty training together, and have a great connection. Equus Rescue saved him from a kill pen, where he was sent after surviving a Louisiana flood. I’m so glad they brought him to the safety of their rescue and into my life!"
